Metro Sports Volleyball Slam

The 2011 high school volleyball season is ready to kickoff and what better way to spend your weekend if you are in the Kansas City Metro area than by attending the Metro Sports Volleyball Slam.

It will take place Saturday, August 27 at St. James Academy in Lenexa, KS.
There are 8 matches scheduled of very high quality.
Here is your schedule for the weekend.
8am - BV Northwest vs. Mill Valley
9:30am - O'Hara vs. Sion…O'Hara is the holder of many state titles,
11am - SM East vs. Olathe East
12:30pm - Lansing vs. Blue Valley North…Lansing's Julie Slater is one of the legendary coaches in KS…BV North expected to content for 6A state title
2pm - Topeka Washburn Rural vs. Blue Valley West…TWR is a volleyball powerhouse in 6A and these teams seem to always meet at the state tourney
3:30pm - Lee's Summit West vs. St. Teresa's…rematch of last years sectional game…Lori Hanaway's 1st game at LS West
5pm - Blue Springs vs. St. Thomas Aquinas…these teams are always good
6:30pm - Topeka Hayden vs. St. James Academy…have met in KS 4A state title game four years in a row with St. James winning last three
