Looking good

With two signed Division I pitchers, a Division I catcher plus a junior shortstop who was awarded a spot on the national gold glove team a year ago along with a 0.00 ERA in 21 innings pitched, there is little doubt that Blue Valley West will get the nod as the No. 1 team in Kansas this season to begin the season.
West returns nine starters from last year's 21-4 Class 6A champions including four who spent at least 15 innings on the mound.

Even as tough as Manhattan, Wichita Northwest, Maize and several others look this year, they will get the nod.
