Wichita, Kan. - Tabor College Senior, Ryan Chippeaux is named KCAC Men's Basketball Player of the Week. The 6-7, Forward from Wichita, Kansas scored 42 points and gathered 35 rebounds in three games this week and led the Bluejays to their first win of the year.
Tabor fell in a close game at home against York (Neb.), 76-73. Chippeaux grabbed nine rebounds and scored 20 points, 10 of those points came from the charity stripe (10-12), in the losing effort.

At the Sterling Classic on November 16 & 17, Tabor lost their first game to Southwestern Assemblies of God (Texas) 69 to 61. Chippeaux pulled down 16 rebounds, tying him atop the KCAC leaderboard for single game rebound leaders. The Bluejays bounced back for their next game, defeating Johnson & Wales (Colo.) 82-64 for their first win of the season. In the victory Chippeaux recorded his third double-double of the season (14 points, 10 rebounds), which leads the KCAC.
Chippeaux finishes the week averaging 14 points and 11.7 rebounds per game. He shot 43.3% from the floor (13-30) and 80% from the free-throw line (16-20).
