A year after the graduation of one of the strongest baseball classes ever to come out of the Sunflower State, it is time once again to go over the lists of All-Conference and All-State players left over from those teams to decide who are the players of record to keep an eye on this season.

HSP has selected a team of what we feel are the top players in Kansas for our pre-season All-State team. This, along with our players to watch listing for this season should give us a good field of players to watch for season ending decisions.

That is our team that we have chosen here as our pre-season top players to take a look at this season. However, this is an ongoing process, and there are many others to look at. Our player to watch list is as follows, and is of course, not etched in stone and we reserve the right to add names as coaches and scouts make us aware of who else is out there.

This list is also kind of small, a tribute to a fantastic class of seniors graduated last year who took up all the post season awards given out. I am sure many more names will come to our attention as the season progresses. That is what our message forum is for, to keep us informed.
