Butler takes two from Barton Co.
Free State's A'Liyah Rodgers was 3-4 at the plate in game one as Butler county swept a double header from Barton County in Jayhawk West action Sunday in El Dorado.
A two run homer off the bat of Jillian Navarrete added to the 8-0 one hit shutout thrown by Sydney Eck in game one.

Game two saw Navarrete picking up four RBI's on two hits including her second homer of the day as the Grizzlies swung their bats to a 13-0, two hitter.
Kate James hit her fourth homer of the week, this one landing in the parking lot which cleared the evergreen behind the scoreboard and left no doubt where it was headed. Butler led 11-0 after the first two innings.
Jayde Hansen picked up the win for the Grizzlies in the circle, giving up just two hits on the day.
Eck, Ashton Atwell, James, and Navarrete all had two hits apiece in game two.
Rogers and Aujanay McCoy each had three stolen bases, with Monica Islava and Eck swiping two.
Butler hosts Seward County on Wednesday while it appears Barton is idle until next Saturday when they travel to Manhattan to play the KSU Club team.
